How to create a new document?
The Create Document feature in AIREX offers a streamlined way to generate contracts directly within the platform. Whether you’re starting from scratch or uploading an existing file, this tool is designed to simplify document creation and organization. This article walks you through the steps for creating a new document from scratch.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Document
1. Accessing the Create Document Button
To begin, navigate to the dashboard page. On the top right corner, you’ll find a button labeled Create Document. Click this button to start the process.
2. Selecting Document Type
Upon clicking, you’ll be presented with two options:
Create an Empty Document: Start a blank document from scratch.
Upload an Existing Contract: Add a document already saved on your system.
For this demo, we will focus on creating an empty document. Simply leave the field for uploading files empty to proceed.
3. Organizing with Folders
Next, you’ll be prompted to choose a folder. You can:
Select from a dropdown menu of existing folders.
Create a new folder by typing a name into the provided field. For instance, you could name it New Folder.
4. Assigning a Jurisdiction
Once you’ve selected or created a folder, the next step is to assign a jurisdiction for the contract. For example, you could specify that the contract falls under New York jurisdiction by selecting it from the dropdown menu.
5. Defining Your Role or Purpose
You’ll then be asked to specify your role or purpose within the contract. For instance, you might choose Landlord if that aligns with your position. This information helps clarify the context of the agreement.
6. Finalizing and Creating the Document
After entering all the required details, click the Create button. The system will:
Save the folder and jurisdiction settings.
Generate a new, blank document for you.
Once the document is created, you’ll be directed to the contract editor. Here, you can:
Start adding text and utilize AIREX’s powerful features to draft, review, or finalize your contract. The clean, intuitive interface ensures that you can begin working on your new document without any delays.
