How to search through your documents?

The AIREX platform offers a comprehensive Dashboard designed to simplify document management and enhance productivity. Among its many features, the Search Documents function stands out as a powerful tool for navigating through uploaded contracts. This article explores the utility of the dashboard and highlights how you can use AIREX’s search filters to locate specific documents with ease.

Search Documents: Filters and Functionality

The Search Documents feature allows users to locate contracts based on multiple criteria. Below are the key filters and how they can be utilized effectively:

1. File Name

Searching by file name is one of the most straightforward methods. For example, if you have a hotel rental contract, you can simply type "hotel rental" in the search bar. The system will instantly locate and display the specific contract.

2. Counterparty

If you need to find a document associated with a particular party, you can search by Counterparty name. For instance, if a contract is linked to Sylvia Mandel, typing "Sylvia Mandel" will display all related contracts.

3. Type of Agreement

The search functionality also allows you to filter by the type of agreement. For example, typing "lease" will return a list of lease agreements. If the search term is more specific, such as "rental," it narrows the results further, helping you quickly find relevant contracts.

4. Document Status

Another valuable filter is the status of the document. Whether you want to view drafted contracts, pending contracts, or finalized agreements, selecting the appropriate status allows for efficient document categorization and retrieval.

5. Document Content

One of the most powerful features of AIREX’s search is its ability to look inside the document data itself. This means you can locate contracts by specific terms, clauses, or details mentioned within the text. For example:

Searching for "Apartment 2A at 201 East 26th Street" will reveal any contracts containing this address.

Similarly, typing "426 Main Street" will bring up contracts associated with that location.

This capability is especially useful when dealing with property agreements or other contracts where specific details are critical.

Why the Search Feature Stands Out: The ability to search not only by file names and metadata but also within the actual text of a document makes AIREX’s platform incredibly efficient. Whether you're looking for a specific address, a counterparty, or the type of agreement, the search function ensures you can find what you need without sifting through every document manually.
